National NIHR ACF recruitment
Round 1 of recruitment for NIHR ACF 2012 posts opened on Monday 17th October 2011 with a national advert in BMJ and the available posts being published on this website. The closing date for applications was 14th November 2011.
Shortlisting and interviews took place in December 2011 and January 2012.
All offers should have be made by 27th January 2012. Successful applicants were given five days including weekends to decide whether to accept an offer of an NIHR ACF post.

Generally recruitment to NIHR ACFs is managed by postgraduate medical deaneries. You should contact the relevant deanery for further information on how to apply. Contact details for all deaneries hosting NIHR ACFs are listed here. You should also consult deanery websites for full clinical and academic person specifications. Clinical person specifications for all specialties can also be viewed on the Medical Specialty Training website. Please note that to be short-listed for a post you must be able to provide sufficient evidence that you meet all attributes listed as essential criteria.
